Meanwhile, the DSWD, along with other government and non-government agencies, has started “pre-positioning” relief goods to areas that are likely to be hit by typhoon “Ramil.”

A group called Philippine Ambassador’s Foundation Inc. (PAJI) is calling for a stop to the Fujimi sale stressing that the propery is a cultural gem that needs to be preserved.

PAJI said the Fujimi property, scheduled to inflatable bouncers be auctioned next month, is acknowledged as the crown jewel of the country’s foreign service and considered as “the most beautiful Philippine ambassador’s residence in the world.

“There is an imperative need to look into this serious matter in order to preserve our culture, heritage and national patrimony,” Pimentel said.

It failed for the third time last Oct. 8 to sell the P13-billion swing machines Food Terminals Inc. property in Taguig as property developers snubbed the public bidding.It now hopes to enter into a negotiated sale with big-ticked players.

(PNOC-EC) for P11 billion to P12 billion as it hopes to contain the budget deficit at P250 billion this year. MANILA, Philippines - Education Secretary Jesli Lapus has issued a plea to the private sector to come to the aid of public schools hit hard by storm “Ondoy” and typhoon “Pepeng.”

Lapus said that assistance, whether in cash pearl jewelry or in kind from small companies to large conglomerates, would be of great help for affected schools to be able to resume classes.
